CARD OF SESSION
Royal Historical Society Card of Session 2012
REF 2011
The Society's Research Policy Committee and Council have already begun to consider the Society's response to the REF, and will be holding a special meeting on 16 September with the 2014 History Sub-Panel Chair, Professor Chris Wickham. Representatives have been invited to attend from the British Academy, HistoryUK, the Historical Association and the Institute of Historical Research. This will give the Society an opportunity to make representations about the REF documents and also influence the reply the Society makes to the consultation document.
The President is very keen to hear the views of individual Fellows and Members on REF issues over the next few weeks. Please read the Presidential Letter below and send any comments by Friday 9 September to: c.d.h.jones@qmul.ac.uk.
